Official Rules
- Entry must be grown and cared for by the contestant.
- One entry per contestant.
- Pumpkins that have entered any other contest are welcome for
display but are not eligible to enter the weigh-off. - All pumpkins will be judged and weighed in their natural
condition. - Decisions of the judges will be final in all instances.
- In the event of a tie all prize money will be distributed equally
between the tied contestants. - All contestants who win $600.00 or more will have to provide their
Social Security Number or Tax ID # in order to claim their prize. - We reserve the right to limit the number of entries.
- All contestants must adhere to all G.P.C. Rules and Regulations.

Registration All entry forms must be received no later than 5:00pm on September 30, 2008 Late entries will not be eligible to participate in the weigh-off. (Entry date may be extended if necessary) The Day of the Weigh-off All pumpkins must be received in the designated Pumpkin Weigh-off area on the corner of 12th Street and Pine Street between 8:00am and 10:00am on October 25, 2008. Weigh-off begins at 10:15am. |
